Peterson Jewelry was purchased by Lawrence Peterson in 1932 and it has been family run since. His son Ron began working there in 1954 and Todd, the third generation, started working in the store in 1979. In the early 80’s, after collecting coins since a teen, Todd helped expand the business by buying and selling old coins, silver, and gold. Neal Peterson, the fourth generation, with a passion for coins and jewelry, started in 2012 after graduating college. They presently sell jewelry, watches, clocks, stained glass lamps, and gift items. Today, a big part of their business is buying and selling precious metals, gold and silver coins, bullion and scrap gold. Ron repairs most of the watches while Todd and Neal focus on buying and selling the coins precious metals.
